A natural ruby, cut and polished by hand into a round cabochon. Opaque magenta-pink with the silky quality that comes from the fine inclusions inside — the same inclusions that confirm the stone is untreated and natural. No facets: the dome is there to hold light, not to throw it. Set in a deep, heavy bezel with a wide polished rim that gives the small stone real presence on the hand. Thin tapered band underneath, so the setting reads as a single solid form. Stone cut, shaped and set by hand in the workshop — Nafplio, Greece. No molds, no casting, no plating. One of a kind.
